24 uurs zeilrace

The Kustzeilers 24 Uurs Zeilrace is the largest sailing event in the Netherlands with approximately 400 participating cabin sailboats for both racing and touring sailors, with approximately 1,600 sailors on board. Goal: make as many miles as possible in 24 hours.

The start is on Friday evening, August 28, 2026 from 13 starting ports in 3 groups. You may decide in which starting port you want to start. This is the first tactical choice to be made.The massive finish after 24 hours of sailing will be in Medemblik on Saturday evening, Aug. 29, where the participants will be enthusiastically welcomed by many crowds on the quay and harbor heads.
