From Europe to Australia: Scallywag’s next chapter begins

Scallywag will be dropping off crew before heading to Southampton, where she will be loaded onto MV Houtmangracht. For safety during the Atlantic crossing, her nearly 40-meter mast will be removed, a maneuver made possible thanks to world-class crane facilities in Europe and Australia.
SHK Scallywag has a rich history in the Sydney Hobart race, with past finishes including second and third on line honours. While victory has remained just out of reach, 2025 could be the year she claims the top spot.
