The largest global provider of yacht shipping services which manages the transport of over 2000 yachts annually is seeking a marine/project forwarding professional to aid in their aggressive expansion plans. Based on their office in Southampton the successful candidate will be responsible for working within a small team managing the complete liner activities and shipment on their owned vessels, for various yachts including; private, super yachts; charter, new build, and racing teams.
Your requirements
Candidates must have a good understanding of working with out-of-gauge/project cargo, ideally within the marine industry plus ideally working with loadmasters and various port authorities, handling all shipping documentation such as Bills of Lading, and completing all Customs paperwork/requirements.
Candidates must be commercially minded and have good problem-solving skills, excellent customer service skills & the ability to work under pressure.
Previous project / marine shipping experience is a must.

Loadmaster/Trainee Loadmaster
We are currently seeking full-time Loadmasters or Trainee Loadmasters to join our team at the most dynamic yacht transportation company in the world. As a Loadmaster/Trainee Loadmaster, you will be responsible for the safe loading, unloading, and transportation of luxury yachts on a global scale. Our ideal candidates should have a nautical or operational background and a hands-on mentality. This position requires frequent travel to various locations worldwide, with a preference for candidates located in Florida, Asia, and Italy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting safe loading and unloading of yachts onto cargo ships
- Planning and coordinating logistics for yacht transportation operations
- Providing excellent customer service to yacht owners and all other involved parties
- Conducting pre- and post-loading inspections to ensure the safety of cargo
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of cargo and transportation operations
Your requirements
- Nautical or operational background preferred
- Hands-on mentality and willingness to work in a physically demanding environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to travel frequently to various locations worldwide
- Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal
