Trade Manager | Sevenstar Yacht Transport
For Sevenstar Yacht Transport, we are looking for an enthusiastic Trade Manager.
The role?
As Trade Manager, you are commercially responsible for a specific trade and will be the lynchpin between ship owner and client.
Your responsibilities include the entire handling of commercial, operational, financial and qualitative agreements between clients and Sevenstar Yacht Transport. Your tasks include acquiring and maintaining relationships, taking care of quotations and negotiations and the administrative/documentary handling of cargo flows.
Your profile
- A commercially driven person
- Team player and able to work under pressure
- Approximately 2-3 years’ experience in a commercial role (i.e. trade manager, shipbroker, chartering manager, forwarder).
- Knowledge of the shipping industry.
- Sound knowledge of generally accepted BIMCO shipping contracts.
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills, both verbally and in writing in Dutch and English.

Sales Manager | Sevenstar EMT
For Sevenstar Yacht Transport EMT, we are looking for an enthusiastic Salesmanager.
Over the years, Sevenstar EMT has specialised in the transport of all kinds of floating objects, from a small commercial tender to large float-on/float-off drilling rigs. We focus on various international markets, including aquaculture, barging, dredging, military and offshore transfer. We offer clients a complete end-to-end service and take care of the entire transport process. Maintaining strong relationships with our partners is essential to the success of Sevenstar EMT.
The role?
As a Salesmanager at Sevenstar EMT, you will be responsible, together with our global network of sales agents, for the sale of our high-quality transport solutions. You will be fully responsible for calculating quotation prices and the final voyage results.
- Managing and developing global key accounts
- Responding to and following up on daily enquiries
- Calculating sales prices and negotiating contracts (both sale and procurement of vessel space)
- Monitoring and managing ongoing transport operations in collaboration with operational colleagues
- Supporting the sales team and proposing suitable solutions
- Keeping track of internal vessel positions
- Staying informed about external vessel positions and trends
Your profile
- A commercially driven person with affinity for the maritime sector
- Team player and able to work under pressure
- Approximately 2-3 years’ experience in a commercial role (i.e. trade manager, shipbroker chartering manager, forwarder)
- Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing in Dutch and English
- Sound knowledge of generally accepted BIMCO shipping contracts
- Excellent relationship management and negotiating skills
